Steering is just as bad as it's always been on Controller
Steering is way to sensetive at low-speed (5th gear and below) but any corner that's supposed to be taken at high-speed the steering response, and the turning time seems to be incredibly slow. especially where you need to do fast directional changes AKA Australia turn 12 chicane. I havn't been yet, but I'm sure the long sweepers at Silverstone and basically all of Monaco are going to be absolute trash.

Basically I find I'm having a massive amount of snap oversteer in low speed corners but I have to deal with it otherwise the steering sensetivity is so slow I can't even drive around some high-speed corners.

Steering linearity is on 15 and saturation is at 60. Deadzone is at zero. I play on an Xbox Elite Series II controller. I play with rewind on only because of this. If I could steer properly like in ACC where there's zero steering speed filter then this game would be great.

I want control of my inputs. The same input at 10Km/h should be the same input at 300Km/h. I absolutely hate how the game numbs/dumbs down the steering at high-speed to "help you from snapping the car" when in reality all it really does is hinder my steering enough that I'm off the track by the end of the corner or can't make tight high-speed chicanes.

As a sidenote, correcting slides and rear traction loss is a pain too thanks to not being able to snap the wheel hard in either direction at any time.

If you want this game but don't have a wheel setup...Don't get it

i use 15 saturation and 40 linearity and it isnt terrible, i really thought codemasters were gonna fix the controls a bit but it really isnt too much better

I live with my parents, going through Uni, don't have space or money for a wheel mate. an $80 game shouldn't basically require that I go and buy a new input system just to play it properly. Make the steering inputs actually work, not act all sloppy and numb depending on what speed you're at.
