its all about upgrades and how you shift
literally cant make it 20 laps in an F2 race without the gear box being completely worn
1. Practice gearbox for P1 and P2
2. Event gearbox for P3, Q and Race.
So if you do all your practices in P1 and P2 and don't race in P3 you can already save some wear. Also a practice gearbox is free to change.
And search on internet what the wear can cause. So you will learn to drive better and get less wear on the gearbox.
It was a new gearbox so. The one before I did 1 race with lots of flashbacks (due to corner cutting rule strict) and 1 with less. The one with less was as before but with the new gearbox it now changed. For me it seems like lots of flachbacks bug out the gearbox usage
