Flashlight?

I don't have a flashlight in my inventory. I don't see one in my house anywhere. I can't buy one in a store. Looking online, there's a key binding (T) that says flashlight but when I press it, nothing happens so I guess I have to have it equipped as a tool.

What gives? How do I get and use a flashlight?

Press TAB key to access the radial menu, and it is there on top left :)
