Moving snowman into fridge

OK, so I found the one good plug that works upstairs. Removed the shelves from the fridge. I go to the snowman, hold to inspect, move. Then I go to the fridge, and it highlights in green like it wants to place, but it will not place. Anyone have any suggestions? Or just another broken mission?

it worked for me. you have to left click when you see the actual snowman model. not just the outline

I had the same issue. I saved,exited the game, did a integrity check, went back into the game and this time, when trying to place the snowman in the fridge, I could see the pink scarf and beanie. When you see that, left click. I don't think the integrity check is necessary.

As for the mission with the snowman:
Try changing the quality in graphics settings and rendering. In addition, try to the effect of putting the snowman in the refrigerator.
Thanks to your report, we most likely know what this bug is, so we will patch it in the latest update.
You can also try integrity check.

I can confirm that verifying integrity of local files allowed the snowman to be placed in the refrigerator. (I earlier tried adjusting graphics settings, with no luck.)

Can confirm that verifying integrity fixed the issue without touching graphic settings.

Thank you, this worked for me too.
I could never even see the green highlight before.
I bought it on Epic Games, so I don't know if it's as maintained as on Steam, but if so, the bug is still there

I had the (almost) same issue today, i never even got a green highlight at all so far, still struggling to put this snowman in the fridge, wish me luck, lol.

UPDATE: lowering texture, then saving manually, then closing and reopening the game, and loading the manual save did the trick... I am not sure which (or if none) of these steps fixed the issue, but those are the steps that i did.

Just come across this myself. Also, unable to figure out how to connect a new outlet to the electricity supply. It seems we have to do it a very specific way. But in the real world, we would definitely be able to use one of the four free RCD's to connect it up!

I put the snowman in the fridge. graphic: vsync -> no, fps -> 60, lower the texture quality, and just remove the second and third shelf in the fridge, keep the top one.
