Want to learn about Electricity
I'v always wanted to learn about electricity and what electricians do and how to do it. I look forward to playing this simulator. I hope it's in depth and educational with all kinds of tools and gadgets as well

well I'm going to be a electrician in less than 2 years (hopefully). personally I really hope this game is realistic enough to teach something with logical background.

If you wan't to learn about electricity maybe go read a book. It has the potential to kill you or burn down your house. Please don't learn about it from a video game.

theory is but a student, practice is the teacher.

I hope that there is sufficient CONTENT here. Not just a few locations with very limited interactive wiring.

Really so car mechanic is killing people too,,,,,,,,, how about hospital management,, what other sims should we shy away from cuz we might hurt ourselves. God hate that crap. They Airplane mechanic games and now i am a danger to Aviation.

Me being a licensed electrician and seeing the trailers, this is by far the furthest thing from an accurate representation.

Im a state engineer, all these games offer a fun way to learn not master but to gather a general knowledge. Any product like this is not to turn someone into an electricain but to entertain and educate. Car mechanic sims do not make you a mechanic, takes years and very expensive tools and a shop, Airplane mechanic doesnt mean you can apply for a job and use the game as a resume builder.

Talk to your local IBEW hall, if you're interested in becoming an electrician.

This game will probably be able to teach you the principles and theory of how things are done. How realistic it is will be debatable.

Also you "live in an other world" because USA have completely different electro installations than Europe (on which the game relies on). ;-)
Also it shows more the basic for casuals than the details for those who have that as their job.
