Lore/story

As the title suggests. I just wondered whether there would be a degree of deeper lore or story to keep the players invested - perhaps making you feel more pulled to one team than the other which would create some natural competitiveness and game politics. Other space multiplayer sims have done similar e.g. Tachyon - Bora rebels vs Galspan corps

It's something we would like to do however we've been too preoccupied with the core gameplay mechanics. We hope to eventually be able to build an MMO on the scale of Eve Online etc and we want the lore from this game to be a bridge to that but we haven't quite made it there yet.
