We've discovered some issues with HOTAS/joysticks and keybindings which seem to be what you're experiencing. We're working on release a hotfix as soon as we can sometime today. I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience and greatly appreciate your patience.

We're working on resolving some urgent input issues which might ( nor not ) help.

Some of your issues sound like it's simply not set up correctly. We have a very limited number of profiles and most of them are dating from pre-alpha days and might be partially obsolete, so it'll take time to set up better profiles. Throttle can probably be inverted ( there's an invert check box on the right of each event ); buttons on the stick is probably due to lack of proper set up. As for axis not responding that's a bug we're working on fixing.
Hmmmm now it works ... Question, how do I reverse straff up/down please? Up is down and down is up atm
Also I have a 2 stage trigger. Any idea how to map 2nd stage so it fires 1+2 weapon group please?

My X52 Pro is not being detected by the game, although the inputs are registering in the Windows Game Controllers panel. There is also another user on Reddit reporting the same thing with regard to their X56. Thanks guys.

Re better profiles, I made a copy of Querty.xml in my Documents folder, renamed it to something like "Warthog.querty.direct.xml", opened that file in the game and edited that file. That way you have some guidance already in the file. Don't forget to add your profile file to your backup solution.

Nice. Right now the game isn't detecting my Thrustmaster T16000M / Throttle at all. Windows sees the device.

Can't even get the controller to work. Devices are all set to empty and can't be changed. Steam is loading some keyboard setup for the controller and it's screwing it up. I can fix it, but it really shouldn't be doing that. Never seen that before.

Looks like the Steam Controller stuff is screwing everything up.

It is, we have already released a fix for the Steam Controller stuff specifically but it requires you to restart your Steam client if it was up and running prior to about an hour ago. The fix for everything else will be released shortly. We completely understand your frustration and appreciate your patience.

I restarted Steam and it is seeing all my devices including the hotas. Thanks!

The patch for fixing HOTAS/joystick support has been released. If you haven't restarted your Steam client within 2 hours prior to this post then please do so.

HOTAS is detected and I can bind everything. The only thing that isn't working is the pitch and yaw while in game (it is detected during the key binding process though)
INovaeFlavien  [developer] Sep 27, 2019 @ 8:12pm
Did you bind your events to ShipPitch / ShipYaw ? That's only for direct mode, which isn't the default. You should bind your events to CursorX for pitching and CursorY for yaw-ing, which is the default ( navigation cursor ) control scheme.

Ok, now everything's working great! Awesome game so far.

Note: If you're using HOTAS, hit F4 to change the flight model to Direct Mode, otherwise you'll be overcompensating manually and never hitting anything.

Yeah this thread needs to be pinned for hotas users. I finally got there. Any way of assigning the v C and X menu wheel to a the pov sticks?
