Sonic fan here loving this game so far, any more 3d platformers i should know about that are fast, obviously i know the sonic mainline games.

Heard about this game after doing extensive research on sonic fan games, very hard to find this game or games like this niche

yeah its the only series and probably first indie games that have what people been asking for.

Other than official Sonic games theres always P06, which is a fan rebuild of the 2006 games but if it had the intended dev time.

You could try Cloudbuilt or Cyberhook if what you want is mostly just navigation/platforming.

Also Ghostrunner. And Spark 3 came out like last week.

I'm obsessed with Sonic and have been scouring Steam for awhile now. I definitely recommend all of Jonathan's mentions. Here are a few other 3D platformers to add, although they still have some major diffs:

crumble - squishy ball can grapple and speed through platform levels
demon turf - oddball platformer with some speed elements
blue fire - what you get if you combine a souls game with the sonic formula

- Spark the Electric Jester 3.
- Defunct. Short, very momentum-focused but not very platformy.
- Solar Ash. It's open world and focused on fast platforming, grinding on rails and fights against giant enemies. It's not on Steam, exclusive to Epic Games Store.
- Toree series
- Rocket Assault: Black City: you jump with a car. Early access.
- Cloudbuilt series: very parkour oriented
