At the moment though there is a component you can add called the camera which can lock you in first person.
Loving the main menu music :D
This kind of feedback is really useful, so thanks for inputting as well! It is something we have played with before and are looking at! :)
+1 on this, the camera is also so slooow, I have never had to pick up my mouse to continue spinning a camera around so much since Windows 95 and old ball mice.
(Otherwise the game feels very polished and fun so far!)
Currently it controls all and not just driving or drone. Adding individual controls is something we're looking into doing in a later update.
Would love to know what more specifically you would want as different drive cameras.
A 100% Strict follow cam that never autocorrects it self, or something else?
I found some of the challenges like the phys ed ones slightly more awkward just because of the camera. I found by the time ive tried to rotate the camera to see whats actually in front of me after turning etc ive been pushed off by the rams or hit by the basket balls because ive stayed still to long trying to adjust the camera.
it just feels like its to slow with no adjustment. if you can make it the same when as drone that would be great, having a sensitivity option would be beneficial aswell
for other camera modes, maybe like movie mode.. where the camera cycles through different shots when in a vehicle, not the most easiest thing to do i guess but would be fun when free roaming maybe. strict follow would be good. I personally like being able to rotate the camera as i please with just a zooming in and out function, but strict follow could suit alot of players
also is there anyway to select having the main menu music play in what ever mode you play :D i cant get enough of it lol I find myself just waiting at the main menu alot lol
1: Freecam : The way it works now with the right stick controller the view around your bot.
2: Snap Cam : Like in racing games the right stick would make your head move left or right but when you let go it snaps back to position. It would always be front facing at in till the stick is moved. This would help a little when determining if the bot is going in a straight line more accurately.
Now that you mention it, yeah that would be a start at least.
Please take this as polite constructive criticism, but have a look at pretty much any of the similar games available on Steam. There's almost a modern standard to how vehicles control in games like this, and being able to rotate the camera while driving is a huge part of it. It makes it so much more difficult to see the objectives in the level when you can't spin the camera to look about, and it's about the only thing holding the game back. At the moment, it's really unpleasant to play, which is a huge shame. I'm not sure if controls are better on a gamepad as I'm purely using mouse and keyboard at the moment, but it's quite a jolt to go from controlling the drone the way that you expect a PC game to work and suddenly getting a fraction of your mouse speed the second that you jump into a car.
I struggle with my "Quadcopter" in 3rd person.
But I simply placed a FPV (FOV 90 and I bet i can make it 360 in the files)
