Promising but definitely needs tuning
Impressions of the demo after completing all the jobs available, and completely rebuilding the default bike is that the game could be fun, but man some of the GUI and other gameplay elements needs work.

What I liked:

Ability to repair just about everything - bar some parts which might be due to a bug? On the brakes job you can repair the calipers, the brake pads and the brake disc, yet on the default bike in the garage you can't repair the brake pads. You also can't repair the rims, yet you can repair filters, gaskets etc. Seems a bit inconsistent.

Overall detail on the bikes were pretty nice.

From what's there the game shows a lot of potential.

What I disliked:

Character movement seems floaty.

The screw/unscrew sound effect. Bloody hell it's annoying. Would much rather have a ratchet like sound effect ala CMS over the current MMS sound.

Why do we have to right click on the tools, ie. repair table, wheel balancer etc. to open the interaction menu instead of simply sticking to left clicks. Doesn't really make any sense since interacting with the bike/parts uses left clicks, but other interactions uses right clicks.

Sound effect when balancing a wheel doesn't really fit.

Can't access the tablet while in assemble/disassemble mode on the bike. Very irritating since you notice you need part X for the bike, now you need to escape all the way out of the interaction with the bike, open the tablet, go to the store to buy the part, close the tablet, then interact with the bike, switch to assemble mode and only then you can fix the part in question. Too many steps to accomplish something that makes up a big part of the gameplay.

The repair table, holy hell the functionality in it's current form sucks. Having to make at least 5 clicks for each part repair is just bad design.
Right click, select repair bench. Now click to open the list of repairable parts, then click to select a part to repair, then click "Accept" (WHY???), then only can you click repair to fix the part, which sometimes might require more than one click of the repair button. Then for the next part you have to do the above process all over again. A massive pain in the ...

Why not open up the repairable parts list immediately when activating the bench and keeps it onscreen while repairing parts. You then simply select a part from the list, and instead of having the Accept button, replace that with the repair cost summary and the repair button. Now we click repair until part is fixed, have part disappear from the list. Once a part has been repaired and removed from the list automatically highlight the next part in the list so we can simply click the repair button again to repair the next part. Rinse and repeat. Would make repairing parts a lot less painful than the current system.

Disassembly sequence for some parts are wonky. For example, you can remove the rear axle and wheel, leaving the rear sprocket that's still attached to the drive belt floating in thin air. Doesn't make logical sense.

When disassembling the red highlight of parts blocking the removal of other parts could be brighter, and maybe be visible through other parts. Can be tricky to spot these parts sometimes, especially behind the clutch assembly.

Pricing in the shop on some items seems weird. You can buy a whole speedo assembly for $4, while a light bulb costs $3, but a handgrip costs $70.

Bugs:

If you mount parts and you highlight the part rather than a specific bolt you can sometimes end up screwing one bolt in multiple times - ie. it actually screws past it's intended position multiple times, while other bolts remains in the unscrewed position, yet the part ends up mounted according to the game.

Oil sump down on the default bike is transparent. You can mount/unmount it, but it's not visible.

You can balance the light assembly from the default bike on the wheel balancer.

Some parts blocking removal of another part doesn't always get highlighted in red.

Edit.

Some part condition displays are broken. Example would be the valve from the default bike. If you fully repair the valve, the valve itself looks brand new, but the valve spring still has the grimy look of a worn part. Same with the cables that gets auto installed while you assemble the bike.
