So I was having a good time with this until I came upon the sliding block puzzle. Man, that thing was awful, and completely ruined my immersion. I slapped it around for so long and wasn't making any progress.

The problem is, the puzzle is randomized every time. The blocks will be in different patterns every time you approach it, so there is no uniformly correct way to solve the puzzle. You just kind of have to "figure it out," and if you're struggling with the puzzle already, it's a daunting prospect.

So I recommend this.

It's a little tool specifically designed for solving sliding block puzzles. Allowed me to solve the dumb thing and get back to the story. If you're feeling stuck, just use that and be done with it rather than bashing your head into a wall for a solution.

I think you all are being very exaggerated. The puzzle is not difficult, if you like to play adventure games with many puzzles involved, this only becomes a child's game to put everything together.
