Co-Op Feedback
So, first of all, love the game, it's a lot of fun!

Me and my friend have been making use of the Steam Remote feature to play "local" co-op together and it's a blast! But nevertheless, there were a couple of things that bugged us when playing:

- Automatic teleportation. Now, this didn't affect me as I was player 1, but my friend was frustrated that he was automatically teleported all the time and quickly lost track of where he was. He thinks that maybe adding a trail to indicate point A and B of the teleport might help, but otherwise maybe just having the teleport be manual altogether may be the best solution?

- Items. I realize that player 2 should have a dedicated teleport button, but not being able to use active items was a little disappointing. Maybe there's a workaround for this, I really don't know how to dedicate a teleport button other than inventing a new button for it. But I think both having access to items would be a lot more fun.

- Online integration. I realize this mode is currently local only, and I don't know if there's plans on implementing proper online multiplayer, but I think having a mode where you have two characters that don't share a camera, each with their own unique health and inventory would be the most fun addition to this game.

Thanks for all the hard work, hopefully this feedback may be of use.

Thanks for the feedback. The trail and manual teleportation sound like good ideas, will have a play around with those for the next update. I'm going to wait a while before looking into more involved co-op stuff since there's a fair bit of content I'd like to add first. But yeah allowing the twin to use your equipped item would be neat, though a full-on online multiplayer might be a bit beyond me I'm afraid. :]

One issue I had with co-op is that the Mouse control option seems to affect both characters. It probably shouldn't take control over anyone who is currently set to use a controller, or maybe just have a separate toggle for p1/p2.

Ah thanks, I'll have a look at fixing that so it only affects the keyboard player next content update. :]

I think it's been addressed two patches ago, I've not had the chance to test it but the patch notes seem to suggest as much! Props to caiys!

Hey dude, can you explain how you used remote play to do it co-op? Do you need to invite your friend to remote play after the level starts or can it be done from the title screen?

edit: also, do the keybinds of the host player transfer to the person who's remoting, or do they have the default keybinds?

You should be able to invite them whenever. The remoting player is basically treated as if they were sat at the host's computer so uses all of the host's keybinds. By default the co-op input is set to the first XInput pad (so just plugging in an XBox pad should work) but you can change it in the game's Settings->Controls-> Control Input Config
