Key shortcuts

Here is a list of the current key shortcuts. I will keep this list updated as more are added. Please feel free to share ideas for more shortcuts.

WASD can be used to control the item. Use A / D (left/right) to rotate and W / S (up/down) to move the item vertically.
F - Toggle freeform mode (disable all snapping)
SHIFT to run.
ENTER - Instantly access first-person mode when a character is selected.
B - Open/close build menu
R - Rotate item
Space - Build item
SHIFT + click - Rotate camera
CTRL + Z - Undo (PC)
CTRL + Y - Redo (PC)
CMD + Z - Undo (Mac)
CMD + SHIFT + Z - Redo (Mac)
Backspace - Delete selected item
CTRL + S - Save (PC)
CMD + S - Save (Mac)
CTRL + R to reset the camera back and go back to the start position.

A key shortcut for lowering\raising items when auto-level is not selected would be fantastic! Also a key to toggle it on and off would be great too :)

New shortcuts have now been added to the latest update and the list has been updated.

Another key short cut that I would love to see is drag and delete. (hold down R clicker and drag cursor over area to highlight multiple tiles for deletion)

it would be great if i could build multiple tiles at once without releasing the mouse, for example i click and hold the mouse then drag along and it doesn't move the camera but place a bunch of stuff, would be great for making long fences.

That's a great idea! We're working on making the building controls faster to use, and may consider including this later. ( ’◡’ )

Do you have to use keyboard shortcuts to play this game, or can it be played just with the mouse? I am asking because I am handicapped, and I can only use my mouse in combination with an on-screen keyboard.

The game can be played with just the mouse. ( ^◡^ ) The shortcut keys are optional.

How do you delete land tiles? I can build with them but I can't select them to move or remove.

If you are playing on PC you can right-click on things to remove them.

Yes, you can left-click items to spawn them, and right-click items to delete them. ( ’◡’ )

I'm left-handed. I would like to change the keys .... for example not WASD, I use the arrows. Is this possible?

We don't have this option, but we may consider adding this in future for left handed users. Thank you for telling us! ( ’◡’ )
