This game doesn't adjust the FOV based on resolution so: setting an high resolution means you'd get not enough FOV and you'll see the camera shifted more and more closer to the crossair.
Most games adjust it in relation to the resolution, but this game doesn't.
So, adding a FOV setting would also help, but yes, native 21:9 support would be absolutely great.
For example I cannot play No Man's Sky in 21:9 even setting FOV to 100, I had to edit it manually to increase it more.
Yes in that case of course. I think you are talking about vert- games (games that crop top and bottom when you choose an ultrawide resolution, but are displayed full screen and because of cropping have very little vertical FOV). But sadly this game doesn't render 21:9 at all (not as a resolution, and not even vert-, but just black bars on the side of the 16:9 resolution). If you have a 21:9 screen and you are not getting black bars, probably you have overscaling set different (I always have 1:1 by default, with locked aspect ratio).
Anyway, please 21:9 fix as soon as possible, maybe I'll try more on my own but the developer is reading these threads, could give some tip...

I played the game already. No issues in 21:9. Maybe they updated....don't know. FOV was fine, no black bars, no annoying crop. Hand scaling (flashlight / pipe) is also fine, does not get cropped.

Game just crops and zooms 16:9 so you that you have even less FOV than a standard monitor.
Is it possible to edit a config file to resize the notes?
