Online or local Multiplayer?

Does the game also have online multiplayer, or is it just local?

Right now it's local, but there are ways of playing together with external tools such GMTogether and parsec.

How do you use mutiplayer?

Check that game has co-op.
Buy game.
Start game.
Be confused that 2nd player can't join.
Look up this forum post.
Exit game completely.
Print off this checklist.
Open Steam's Big Picture Mode.
Reopen game.
Finish tutorial.
Open menu.
Select "get me out of here".
Walk East-North to the green sign showing a blue and a red shield.
Use 2nd player's controller to Interact with this "connect a controller for coop" sign.
If the game crashes, try again using the 2nd controller for the 1st player.
*Don't ever touch the keyboard or leave full-screen, it glitches out the controllers.
