ok shill. you support them because you get free games...freeloading aint noble
Then you're endorsing corporate sovereignty over you by accepting their crumbs. A platform that doesn't allow reviews/feedback is not good for consumers in general.
Besides, you can bet that Epic reimburses SNK for every free gifted copy on their store. No free lunches in this town. The more people creating accounts and downloading it, the more money is being passed on to SNK. So your complaint is pointless. It is not as if they were posting links to pirated material.
Last i checked, more money was passed on to producers on Epic store than on Steam. So even downloading a free copy on epic still grants more monetary gains to SNK than PURCHASING it on steam.
I will most certainly get the free copy. No harm in having the game in multiple accounts, specially if one day one of the online services closes. What harm is in having the eggs on multiple baskets, specially if one of the copies is free? I like steam achievements, and want to be able to play against other people on their servers as well. Dont know if that will be possible with the copy from epic. So, eventually, down the road, I will very likely be purchasing it on steam as well.
By support...do you mean buy games from them that cost money...or just take every free game you can get?
Many people on free to play games never make a purchase. But they still help the game by adding numbers. The creators can advertise that this game has XXXXXXXXXX registered users. That entices audiences.
You need to see beyond old models, boy.
Free games don't generate revenue for Epic.
People downloading free games and not spending money aren't customers.
People spending money are customers.
Giving away games for free isn't free to play...
But even people who spend no money on them are still customers and generate audience.
"Free games don't generate revenue for Epic."
No directly. Ill state again for you: In the long run. Offering free games, in this case, is a means to an end.
"People downloading free games and not spending money aren't customers."
Yes, they are. People who purchase a console and purchase less than the amount of games required for the manufacturer to break even are still customers.
"People spending money are customers."
So, in your mind, people watching a big free network on tv (not paid channels), by being the audiences and on the receiving end of their product are not their customers?
"Giving away games for free isn't free to play..."
Actually, it is free to play in its most pure form. Thats a free offering, A gift. If they demanded anything in return, then it would not be. They do hope that many will, but no one needs to.
You are not disproving them as being frauds or taking a wrong step. You are only showing that you fail to understand the intricacies of business.
We respect people's freedom. You don't. You harass people, abusing the rules from this forum, trying to shame individuals when they are acting harmless. Know your place, troll. You are nothing but an entitled fanboy deluded that the world revolves around your preferences and imediate gratification. Stop pestering the users as if not kowtowing to your nonsense was a crime. Or I will see that proper measures will be taken. You can see that the other brat, the one openly defending piracy, has been deal with. You are an abuser. Stop being a cancer to the community. You have NO RIGHT to disrespect other users, you big, childish, loser. With so many international and even racial conflicts going on, are you really so clueless as to label people insultingly as chinese? Are you really so clueless? Do you wish to carry on with this? Perhaps on another level? And all for the sake of you not getting a videogame on your platform of choice? Go on, punk. I think you better chill, apologize to the group, admit that you were way over the line and think more carefully before you speak. You wanna dictate? Your response will dictate mine.
We are saying that a free market, with people having more options is better. Including the options for companies offering exclusive deals to other companies who are free to accept it or not. And for consumers to react as they please. We are making mature and correct use of our freedom. You, are abusing yours by trying to limit ours and others. Know your place, silly troll.
You, on the other hand, wish to prohibit the company from offering the exclusive deal. And to forbid the other company from ever accepting the deal (even if it meant avoiding collapse). You Think that everyone HAS to release their games on steam (the monopoly). You think that people can not accept a free game with no catches, no strings attached.
Us? We just tell people to chill, let it go and act as they please. Get the free game? Their decision. Buy it from epic? their decision. Wait for the steam release? their decision. Buy it from multiple sellers? their decision. Not buy the game under any circumstances? Their decision.
From their fruits you shall know them.
Now, who, between us, appears to be in love with a psychotic, dictatorship regime?
Anyone outside of your bubble, can see. Except for you, the hurt fanboys.
Maybe you will feel better after a free game.
Dont wanna? Thats fine for us. We could not care less about you.
Then leave people alone. They dont need you to think for them. Specially when you have proven as not even being able to think for yourself.
