Gem of Growth?

Hi there, just bought the game and I'm about to finish the second map.

Here I just bought a thing called "Gem of Growth" which I thought I'd craft unto an ally since it says "this ally gains 1 spirit" but when I click the gem in the craft menu I can't add it to any card, and yes I have slots left on 2 ally-cards.

So....how am I supposed to use this?

What was the ally card?, because frogs and devil summoning cards do not count as allies

I forgot now, was gonna put the 3 allies I had but I forgot and then I lost the boss fight =p

But I'll play again later most likely and will see if I'll get them again. (it wasn't an ally of the third guy since he wasn't unlocked yet =)

Many of Sharra's allies are 'Spiritless', beaning they don't have a spirit stat and wouldn't benefit from the gem despite being ally cards. If you only had Spiritless allies, you wouldn't be able to put that gem anywhere.

Ah that might have been it. Sorry, first time I played the game.

Ok so this is solved, but now I have a second question and don't wanna make a new thread =p

Does anyone know how to get the fourth character?
I beat the game yesterday and thought that would unlock them...but nope....

Do I just have to wait for a random event or something?

If it is Aurora, she appears in chapter 3 after you've beaten the game once or reached chapter 3, then you have to get her the teacup which will appear in the map.

Fugoro is part of the Deluxe edition or you can buy him in a DLC

I'd assume it's Aurora then, don't think I have the DLC and there's 3 unlocked and one greyed out char.

So I have to get lucky and find her and the item on the map?

IIRC, the teacup is a relic that shows on the map, so finding Aurora herself is the only unknown in her quest.

she is supposed to show up in the map, devs changed it early on because people were having issues finding an event in chapter 3

Oh, I had that cup the round where I beat the game...think I also had her on the map but when I hovered over here there was no popup so I never went there since I thought it was just a "blocking item on the map".

but yes I did find and unlock her now so thanks....

Speaking of that though...that end-boss called "greed" something is a stupid mechanic....just saying =p
