Are we starting to see hacked scores?

Today was the first time I noticed scores that broke the 50K mark.

I wouldn't think too much of a score ~50K, but there were multiple scores >350,000, one without a recorded time of completion (the others with 12+ hours).

Is it possible to better curate scores that seem overtly fraudulent?

I think it's because of points with map revealed. Since they "fixed" the negative score when you get an event to reveal all map, now you get tons of points I guess .... Or maybe something else, I did not get it so not sure

A leaderboard will always have cheaters. It's just the way things are.

I've seen it a couple of times over the past week. At first it was just people with chinese names, but today I see 8 different people with 200k scores. I've mentioned this before but none of the devs said anything to it. I wish they would at least acknowledge it.

I dit it and there's no hack, no cheat ! You have to explore the map, fight all ennemies, take gold, take card, take the mine etc... to make point ! But you're right, there's a big gap betwwen players ... Maybe a bug ? Don't know...

Yeah, I hate to just jump to a conclusion, but it is the vast disparity between scores that makes me believe the scores are hacked.

For instance, on 03/03/22 I ended up with the #1 Story Tournament score of 26,192.

Naturally, I had to do all of the things you described, including fighting all battles, swearing an Oath to the Emperor to expose the entire map in one chapter, carefully using all of my brushes and ink to expose as much as possible in the other 2 chapters, acquiring all possible gold and hearts, all collecting/buying all of the possible treasures and cards, but in no conceivable could I have altered my strategy within the working as intended rule set to break over 350,000.

It would be nice to hear from the developers on this matter.

Realize that to score 350,000+ you would have to do so by adding up the achievements on this chart, so clearly there is an exploit.

I believe the event you are talking about is the Oath to the Emperor, which I also had in my 26,192 point victory. It reveals the entire map and put 2 negative cards into you hand that not only take up space, but also give the mob increased power when drawn.

It sounds like that some times when one gets this event it miscalculates the score.

Is the Oath to the Emperor bug discussed anywhere you have seen?

not seen it, but for me it's only since the update, before I had negative point for map reveal, now I got +200 K points for it

Ridiculously high scores have something to do with the narrative that reveals the entire map. I just had a run where I got that narrative and my score is now at 630,000. Definitely needs to be looked into.

Definitely something bugged. I just finished with the top score (so far) and because of Oath to the Emperor on the first world, my score hit 630522. The game also bugged out when I got the Cobalt Gargoyle....moving forward only one Bold Bargainer showed up. It was even worse when I used the Summoning Crystal on a Flame Stoker....the Flame Stoker never showed up on any battle (basically a wasted Summoning Crystal)

I've been playing with all the strategies I can find and can't crack a 30K score. I have to believe the 200K+ scores are exploiting some kind of bug.
