Report a translation problem
this problem is usually caused by third party processes such as Nahimic, NvidiaShare, RivaTuner, Raptr, MSIAfterburn... etc.
Other users have reported problems also with Steam Overlays.
When you start the game, command warns you about some possible conflict with these kind of processes. Do you receive this warning? Could you check if you have any of these processes running?
This thread also contains useful information similar with your problem:

Thank you
Hey blu3s,
Thank you for the response. I did have an Nvidia share warning popup when I launched CMO, but I didn't think much of it since it worked last week with Nvidia share on. Alas, turning it off did not fix the graphical anomalies. I managed to fix it by terminating Overwolf background processes. Overwolf is used to add extensions to games, and I have been using one called Outplayed. Outplayed is a recording software which automatically records the users gameplay sessions, and among its supported games there is CMO. I used to be able to record CMO with Outplayed, but yesterday it seemed to stop working (most likely due to an update) and the graphical anomalies started appearing.
Anyway thanks for taking the time out of your day to help me.
Enjoy your weekend,
c0rg1
happy to hear that your problem with CMO has been fixed, I hope Outplayed will be updated to get back to work with CMO
Have a nice weekend
