You will have to apply it manually for now.
Well, I tried it, and things didn't improve much.
The game still crashes randomly, and will occasionally tell me that it failed to autosave due to out of memory error.
By the way there seems to be some bugs with certain weapons. The game refuses to let me fire DF-16 missiles because I don't have clearance to use nukes, even though these missiles are equipped with conventional warheads. Other SRBMs don't seem to have this problem but I'm not certain.
Scen save demonstrating this?
* Is the OS fully updated? Graphics drivers updated? Direct-X 9 installed?
* Is Command running as admin? (ie. prompting you "are you sure you want to run this program" when you launch it)
* Are Steam overlays disabled for Command?
* Is Direct-Write disabled on the Steam client?
* Are all other applications (and especially hardware-helper apps like MSI Afterburner, RivaTuner etc.) shut down?
* Are you using a high-DPI desktop? (ie. font size >100%)
* Are you using Norton antivirus? (This POS is very frequently silently blocking file updates)
1. OS fully updated. Graphics drives updated. Not Direct-X 9, Direct-X 12.
2. Yes.
3. Yes.
4. Yes.
5. All but steam. Well actually I think the OMEN gaming hub is running in background, but I didn't launch it, it launched itself.
6. Yes, 125%. Tried to run the game at 100%, didn't help.
7. No.
I tried a smaller scenario, it worked quite well. But the point is that back in the times of CMANO I don't remember it crashing for a single time, even though it would run really slow.
I don't think I can upload a file here, so I will open a new thread on Matrix forum and upload the save file there. The file is both about DF-16 and the crash problem.

Basically after opening the save file, I would fire all ARM missiles from aircrafts that is currently flying, and launch 80 DF-16B at 20 different target, 4 apiece. Plus I launched rocket attacks from those two MLRS launchers near the coast.
Soon after that the game should crash, or maybe telling you it can't save due to out of memory error first. If it doesn't launching some more SRBMs should surely crash it.
