Game won't play on my main monitor

I load the game up and it starts fine on my ultra wide then it jumps over to my smaller secondary screen, I am not okay with this. Is this something that needs to be fixed maybe? Even if I take the game off of full screen and drag it over once I accept the settings it still jumps back to my other screen. Infuriating!

In the settings there is an option to choose a monitor... If you just turn off fullscreen and move it the monitor you want and turn it on again it will go back as you still got the old monitor selected.

I did this, it still sends it to the 2nd smaller monitor

this does not work i'm afraid, if i play around with it enough i can get it to stretch across two monitors. unplayable unfortunately

I don't know what I did different : I started the game, it went to secondary monitor.
So I ctrl+enter to windowed mode, moved it to correct monitor, and restored full screen.
Then from the settings, I selected "Monitor 2", and next launch it went to the right screen.
Maybe it reverses the selection, I dunno, but that way seems to work for me.
