Lost patience with the Angel/Lift puzzle

Once I have restored power to the elevator, I tried countless times to get back in before the Angels get me, but they always defeat me. If I generate the power super-fast, the game tricks me by saying that "the elevator needs time to reset", thus meaning that it doesn't matter how efficiently we do that step, we will always be in the seemingly impossible position of having to try and pull the elevator lever behind our back whist keeping the Angel in our field of view. I'm going to have to stop playing here because I simply can't do it. Is there a way of doing this and/or skipping the step?

What exactly is the problem? Cant you just step backwards without looking away and then pull the lever? You should have enough time to look away to pull the lever and then look back before you die.

I found this to be a little too repetitive, but it is possible. The trick is to step back into the elevator, then wait for the corridor lights to go out before turning around to pull the lever. The lights going out gives you enough of a time window before the angel reappears.

i rather felt that they did not come closer fast enough. the only time they got close was when the game made them get closer not by me while not looking at them. i was at first doubtful how you can manage this and after the section was over i was kinda disappointed that it was this easy.

No way to get into the lift the tird time really annoing to play. Lift doors stay closed and then you the angel gets you every before the doors open.

Yep, this is exactly where I stopped playing this game. The angel section is one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered in VR, Very stressful and absolutely ruined this game for me.
