Vassal deck

Hi all,
When playing with vassals, why are there only 3 vassal cards available for combat? I would think that we could pick up from the whole vassal deck.

Hi!

Exists 7 cards and in every combat the vassal draw 3 random of this 7 and pick 1 (Always the 7 cards are avalaivable, so you can see the same card once and again).

Thanks. So in the physical board game, who gets to draw randomly the 3 cards ? The vassal's liege or the opponent ?

The vassal liege ofc. But is randomly draw, so 3 random cards picked from 7 known cards and the enemies doesnt know which 3 random cards were picked.

Thanks. In my 6 player game with 3 vassals, I had Tyrell and the iron throne and all 3 vassals on turn 1. What is the logic behind that ?

Mmm...i have never played with Vassals in digital version, but in physical edition, in iron throne track order, players pick 1 vassal each (or refuse to pick one). Except por the last player who has to take all remainings vassals. (Some times a player prefers to not pick a vassal because that way can focus on his strategy, or attack to this vassals directly).

Well, actually Tyrell should be last on Iron throne track at the beginning I think. It means that 2 first players chose no vassal and I ended up with all ?

If it´s a game for 6 players but with 3 vassals (that means 3 real life players) then, usual it´s 1 vassal per player, but if the 2 first players didn´t pick any vassal, the 3 of them will be manage by the last one in the Iron Throne track
