Thanks for the input. I was able to complete "Growing Strong" while going for the middle of the board, trying to get one or two uncontested support hubs, while spreading out my troops and trying to get high supply: Blackwater, Searoad Marches and Prince's Pass are great for this. Bidding mostly for King's Court, while Fiefdoms would be very good for the purpose of this challenge, on this challenge rarely i can get enough Power Tokens to outbid on more than 1 Influence Track (Damn you Starks and Martells). Another thing that helped me was not caring at all about ships, except for the starting ship on the Redwyne Straits.
I've yet to complete Expanding Influence, but i'm getting the hang of it. At least i'm fairly sure i won't need 10+ tries as i did with "Growing Strong".
I feel the Tyrell challenges are the most difficult to achieve, since not only you need good luck with the Westeros cards, but you need to really understand the game mechanics and the card battle game in order to beat the challenges. I'm liking it but it can be very frustrating. The Greyjoy challenge was easy to do. The Lannister/Baratheon were, i think, middle-of-the-pack difficulty: the wildfire one can be tricky at first, but it's doable. "Dead Marches" will seem impossible at first, but once you understand the AI lack of initiative and agression, you can takeover Stark - Secure Narrow Sea - Cruise to victory, as Greyjoy (who is normally the most competent AI on skirmishes) will be all over the place and unable to be the strong, consistent 4-5 castles grabber.
