Managing your Friends list, creating a Lobby and playing with friends

Hello everyone,

We have been receiving reports from some users that they have been having issues inviting friends to online matches of A Game of Thrones: The Board Game - Digital Edition. As we want to ensure that everyone is able to play with their friends and create matches that they will enjoy, please find a guide below on how to manage your buddy list as well as invite players to online games.

The first thing is to introduce you to the Asmodee Buddy system, which many know as the "Friends list". In A Game of Thrones: The Board Game - Digital Edition, you play online using the Asmodee.net servers and systems which require you to log in to an Asmodee.net account before you can play with others.

This means that your friends are managed through the Asmodee.net buddy system and not your Steam Friends. In order to add a friend to your Buddy List, you will need to follow the below steps:
1) Login to Asmodee.net and visit your "Buddies" section: https://account.asmodee.net/en/profile/relationship/buddies
2) Using the search function, type out your buddies Asmodee Account name and hit enter
3) Click on the appropriate account of your friend and they will now be added to your buddy list.
4) You can continue to add and remove buddies from this list as you deem appropriate.

You can also find the Ignore List in the same location, which operates in the same manner as the Buddy List.

Now that you have added your friends to your Buddy List, you can now add them to your online games. Follow the below steps to add a friend to an online game:
1) Launch A Game of Thrones: The Board Game - Digital Edition
2) Select the "Lobby" option from the main menu
3) Here you can select "Create Regular Game" where anyone can join your match from the lobby, you can set a password if you want here, or you can choose "Create Friend Game" to create a match by invite only - Select "Create Friend Game" to continue with a friends only game.
4) Click the "+ Add Player" option the "Add Friend"
5) Your friends list, compiled of those you added on Asmodee.net will appear. Simply select the person you want to invite and they will be prompted to join. Repeat until you have invited all of your friends and then finalise the creation of your game.
