Local Multiplayer vs AI?

Could someone and myself play as two human players playing on the same computer against 4-6 AI players, or are AI players limited to solo/online play? I don't really plan to play online at first, but my wife and I would like to play the 'pass and play' mode against AI players (not just us against one another).

Exactly what I came to ask and for the same situation...the wife and I. Hoping this is confirmed as an option.

local doesnt work but you can online with one other friend and the rest ai. Hopefully they fix this since their store page says its an option.

Maybe I am a little rusty, but the AIs are surprisingly competent and know how to do some interesting stuff. I am having a lot of fun so far playing the differents challenges.

stated here, is not possible. only online mixed even with bots. bots also should swap and replace leaving human players if necessary.

Can 2 people play at once on the same steam account? For example could I have my girlfirend download steam/this game on her laptop so we could play?
