How does endgame look like?
I've tried to look up some videos, but all of the recent ones are about the start of the game.
Would like to hear how is it at the endgame. How grindy is it? How is the build variety? Do you still unsummon your creatures every 2-3 hits?

I dont have the game and im looking for the same answer but what i could filter out from comments and the achievements is that its more like a "gotta catch em all" feeling to it.

The question here is is it worth it? What do you do when you beat the game? I wanna know that because the game doesnt look very story heavy so there is no reason to play it for the "rpg" aspect. There must be some sort of endgame loop.

Endgame activities
Completing the main story is just the beginning of your journey in Gaterdrik.
To help you complete your collection of creatures, even blessed and super-blessed, the Hunt mode was created.
If you prefer a challenge to test your ability to adapt to different situations, we have the Ascension mode.
And for those who want to prove themselves as adorers with their team of favorite creatures, you can venture into new depths.

Most games will mention endgame I'm betting this is a collect them all and done. I'm guessing.

There are 3 main endgame activities:
1) assemble your perfect team/build
This requires a bunch of resources, gems, synergies, time especially to get the perfect super blessed team member. If you want the legendary creatures even more so.
2) ascension
This means you'll have to create a decent load out for a big number of different creatures and compositions. Mostly a time investment as a good item load out and some leftover synergies should carry you through.
3) high depth runs
You'll find the most difficult fights here, monsters are scaled up in health and damage and you'll need a solid team for this.

Generally it's just more of the same, personally it takes too much time to min-max everything (getting the perfect super blessed is incredibly low odds tbh) so just do it as long as you have fun.

How is the build variety? Do high tier summons or synergies do something fun mechanically or just give bigger numbers wih same gameplay as at lvl 1?

While in general it's just bigger numbers, some synergies can be real game changers.
You could also stack on traits that have a chance to not use stamina and just unleash the horde lol.

There's good variety in monsters in general. The legendary ones I didn't really use because I don't care about the slow chunky ones, but the standard team would be something like a physical and a magical damage dealer, a cc creature and a healer.

I know someone who was doing funky stuff like making the charging snake (zarkee) do like 500+ damage. I don't even care about magical damage and just unleash the meekras buffed to absurd speeds. There's two synergies that are just baseline great for any build but there's always at least one that you can build around and make something interesting.
I don't think there's any creature that's bad, some are just easier to use and build around than others.

I see, thanks.
Last question - can you tame that dragon? :)
Lorska Aug 3, 2023 @ 3:41pm
You can tame any creature except for ixer (main antagonist).
But yes, dragons are their own race actually.
