Game completely broken
I can't save my game in career mode. I play for an entire hour, and after that, I get an error that it was unable to save my progress, and I have to start over. Since career mode takes an HOUR to complete, I'm really not up to doing it again only to find that once again it fails to save. Does anyone have a way to fix this issue?

On top of that, I tried getting a refund due to this game breaking bug and was denied. It's really infuriating.

Being a programmer, I suspect the issue is that my email/account name is too long. It's cut off in the game, and I'm wondering if maybe it's trying to save my career progress using the full email, but since it doesn't match my user name, it fails. But that's just a guess.

Have you tried with a shorter email?

No, because I would have to play another hour in career mode to find out if it worked. There's no way to test it without doing that as far as I could tell last time I cared. At this point I just want my money back, I doubt I'll ever play the game again. Sadly that option is not available.

If you're that short on time, then career mode wouldn't be for you anyway, since it's a time sponge. I've put about 80 hours into career mode so far and am only halfway through season two.

With all due respect, that's not at all a fair statement. I'd love to play a good tennis game for hours. What I'm NOT willing to do is waste an hour to DEBUG a tennis game that may or may not save my progress afterwards. And furthermore the developer attitude that this doesn't happen to real customers is extremely aggravating as well. Other people have complained about this exact problem and they don't care.

So no, I don't care to try to debug their product for them.

Simple solution. Just create a new career (no player customization to save time) with a short email address and see if it works. If it works, you can delete that random player from the player list (otherwise he would show up in the new career as AI player) and start a career for real. Should take less than an hour overall.

If it doesn't work, which is unlikely, then you could also play the game outside of career mode and have fun that way. It's not a bad game in any way and you don't really need a customized player to have fun with it.

PS: Just to make sure, maybe delete the game beforehand and reinstall it (or verify game files). It's like turning it off and on again, but it might be worth a try. Although I don't think that it's a problem with the installation. It could very well be the length of the email address. Maybe they haven't set the right width for their DB columns and it cannot handle them above a certain length.
