If you have created a player in the academy you must hit the share button in the bottom screen. Now if you start a new career you must choose "star player " and then look it up in the list .
But if you do it like this the game doesn't see it as a new career and you don't get the cut scenes as in a new career. The only way to get this first start a new career and then choose "new player " and create it.
The difference between the two is that if you create a player in the academy skills and attributes is not limited. But if you create a player after starting a new career it is limited.
You can create any player to use in your own career if you create them in the academy and share them. Then you can add them to a list of players and then import this list.
