Two players on one PC

Hi there, me and my friend try to play vs each other. Me on keyboard and friend on Xbox controller. The game can see the controller but we can not choose the sides. Each time I press left arrow keyboard icon goes left but when my friend press right arrow on controller the controller goes right but my keyboard on left side disappear. The xbox controller and the keyboard is like one and only controller. There is also an option to "add controller" but when we press X on keyboard nothing happens and when we press Y on controller also nothing happens. Anyone know how to sort it? We just would like to play against each other on one PC. One using keyboard and other using the controller.

The first controller and keyboard are treated as the same controller by the game - to play local multiplayer on PC you would need two controllers.

Virtua tennis 3 had that feature like 12 years ago. More people would buy the game if you introduce this feature, not everyone has two controllers
