is it worth it right now? maybe not
is it worth it in about 2 weeks time? i would say definatly as they would fix the 2 bugs that break the fun.
And what about now please? :-)
I'd advise against it, it's very expensive for what you get currently. They seem to keep causing more problems each time they try and patch things, the beta patch has shown very little difference so far. Still FAR from being a good tennis sim, let alone realistic
I would have to agree with this, even after the update just released. Crap quality AI players still run down practically everything you hit into the opposite court and you end up having to "cheap" the points to win - e.g. drop shot to opposite side of court or play from left to right, right to left baseline shots until they are too far out of court to return the ball - and sometimes the AI will just keep making the shots, while your player has trouble even crossing half the court if played off-balance (playing in the wrong direction to the shot and trying to recover is fine though to me).
