You get a ton of money and plenty of coins for unis....
If you make your reel a little bit less powerful than your rod and line, you can lock off the drag and it won't break, then if you have a big fish it won't go anywhere.
When that happens don't reel against it or it just plays out line, wait until the fish tires and the meter goes down and you can reel in.
You can never get spooled using this method.
Apparently fishing planet players are not happy because they have recently patched this out of that version, lol :)
this is accurate, but also it's important to revise your question. aren't you interested in the most value per minute of fishing instead of per-pound?
some fish may not be the most valuable per-pound but are more easily farmable and therefore result in more cash per hour.
walleye falls into this category as you can somewhat successfully target them with narrow spoons (purple generally works best)
run walleyes at emerald until you can setup a bottom rig that can handle 30lb on each component.
once your rig's weakest point can handle around 30lb and you have a keepnet that can handle at least a 40lb single fish, you can very successfully rack up cash fast.
a 150lb keepnet can usually keep 4 sturgeon, which will earn about 11k (+/- 2k) and then pay the 2k to extend your trip (and thereby emptying the keepnet), giving you a net earning of approx 8k .. and this can be done in less than 30 minutes easily.
if you do that 10 times and use the cash for the keepnet that can hold 400lb, you can really start cooking and end up racking up 100k per session consistently.
i know this is a completely necro reply, and useless info for you, but for other new players coming in, this is a roadmap to being able to buy a bass boat and have maxed out gear in a matter of days.
