Aligator gar

Has anyone noticed that the gars aint biting? Got two rods out and am in my third night now, without a single gar. i fish with large minnows and 40cm deep. Never had this issue before

Not possible, need the quest, a 15kg+ with either shiners or minnows on the matchrod

try with fluro leader, the shortest or no leader at all.

Yeah , it has something to do with the event . My brother and I have the same issue . It is not just gar , all fish seem to be extinct atm . When I couldn't get snake heads , i went after gar in Louisiana and couldn't get a single hit , which I know is bs , I farmed them for some time . Had the normal net and all after no snake heads .,did not matter .
