Tarpon - Blue Crab gear

I'm currently level 32 and would like to know if there are any rods, bottom or float, decent enough for tarpon?

In the free to play version you can use a 34lb setup, you have to go to a certain spot on the map and only cast out 15ft, soon as you hook a fish it instantly collects it without a fight.. Search KPshamino on youtube and watch his tarpon guide you'll get what im saying :)

I know the spots and bait. I just want to know if there's a setup I can use at my level.

All those videos on youtube are for those players who are level 50 and over.

I found that 35lb gear was pretty much the minimum I would consider going after Uni Tarpon. 35lb rated bottom rod, reel, and line. I don't think level 32 gets you to that level unless you use baitcoins to buy the gear. I just took a look and about the strongest gear you can get is about 28lb rated. You can fish with that but if you hook a Unique Tarpon, Black Drum, Permit, or even Red Drum, you might get spooled.

You need the dlc to access blue crab and you get the gear with the dlc

I wouldn't have posted anything about Blue Crab if I didn't have the DLC. You don't get ALL the rods for Blue Crab. Re-read my post again and you'll find that I wasn't interested in fishing with lures for Tarpon (and other fish). *rolls eyes*

if u have the dlc then u have a free rod the gave you to use it camee with dlc not sure why you are rolling your eyes at ppl helping u with correct answers

In his defense he did ask about bottom and float rods for a level 32 player so it wasn't the correct answer. He could have been a little more polite with his reply though.
