How often does this go on sale?
I want another crack at this game but I own it on the switch only (which is notoriously laggy if you want to exist with more than 2 NPCs) so I wanna buy it on steam, but £39.99 is pretty steep.

How often does this game go on sale?
How much does it normally drop by?

Just info in general about sales would be great, thanks! :cozyhitman2:

Last two sales have reduced price by 40%, to £23.99, which is lowest its ever been. If last year is any indication, next sale would fall between late September and early October and would be expected to be same discount %.

Note that this price is quite fair given that it includes the season pass DLC. Someone buying the Switch version will pay just as much (if not a bit more) but only get the base game and have to pay extra to add the season pass DLC (which I'm guessing is around £17). When the Steam version goes on sale its less than half the regular price of the game+season pass Switch bundle.

Oh, this game ALSO has the season pass? That's awesome, now I'm tempted to buy it even more

Thanks for the info friend!

It's still £21.99 on CD keys.
It is where I picked it up.

I tend to avoid the grey market since it's not secure, I'll wait for a sale here. Thanks anyway!

Try isthereanydeal, it tracks the best deals for many legit online stores. If you create an account and enter your preferred amount of discount for the wishlisted games, then you'll be notified when the price is good.

That website sells stolen keys, it's a criminal cesspit.

Got it for $25 on CDKeys .com I've used them before and I've never personally had an issue.

I'm not sure about that. CDKeys.com is one of the more reliable key shops. Apparently they buy keys from cheaper regions and resell them. Trust Pilot rates them highly. 88% 5 star positive out of 104,665 reviews.

That sounds very much like a potential breach of the distribution rights, but if someone is stupid enough to distribute keys on the cheap in some poor country and those keys actually unlock in a large number of countries, including countries where the product would be more expensive, that may be a different story.

In any case that wasn't the website Koalageddon advertised for. The website he mentioned is not allowed to be mentioned on steam exactly because it is selling stolen keys. Three characters, the name ends with A.

I second this. Really good site. You can even set up an alert if a given game's price changes. Also Cheapshark is another helpful sale tracking/aggregator site.

Isthereanydeal is an extremely good site since its policy is to only advertise sites that get the keys directly from the developers or distributors. Humble Bundle, Fanatical, Greenmangaming, Wingamestore are the ones I mostly use. All of them are legitimate and never had any issues.
