Steam Deck Remote Streaming - Controller Not working

I am able to remote stream this from my PC using another device with a PS5 controller or Xbox One controller hooked up to it just fine. And the controls are recognized.

However, when using my steam deck to remote play, the controller is not recognized. I suspect Denuvo is getting in the way. But this is simply because other games work fine that don't have that in play. I'd post in the a Steam Deck discussion if this was not isolated to just this game.

Has anyone else had success running this via remote play on their steam deck?

The game doesn't have Denuvo anymore. It did when it launched, but caused more troubles than it was worth (and bloated the game size several gigabytes) so it was removed.

I had the same issue using my PS5 controller. But turning off Steam Gamepad Support specifically for the game (so it uses the games gamepad support instead) solved the issue for me.

If so that did not resolve it for me.

On a side note, this setting regardless, my PS5 controller works fine remote playing via steam link.

This makes me happy if I can rule it out!

That said, in their ToS where you have to agree to in connecting to their network it still mentions Denuvo. So that's what made me think of it.
