It's cute, and a good addendum to the lore of Dragon Quest II.
So I should focus on story mode and then focus on personalizing my islands.
I will wait until there is a offer.
If you're a few hours into the demo (admittedly, it starts slow for about the first hour) then you'll know if this game appeals to you or not to consider purchasing. It is on sale every 2-3 months so generally not a bad idea to wait.
100% super relaxing game.
The monsters are not difficult. You can't die.
What i want to say is, in the last stage, you will be going back to the ship that's from the beginning of the whole game. There is a sword hidden in a pot or something. If you miss that, you won't be able to get it anymore, and your item list will never be completed.
A ghost will be chasing you if you don't sleep. There is one you can be-friend with in the last stage. I missed that and I have never seen anyone got that, so I am not sure if that's a temp member or 's one of the member will come to the island after game.
I guess a better way to say it is you can't really lose the game. There is no Game Over screen, it'll give you as many chances as it takes to tackle fights. The game is quite far onto the easy side of the scale.
This weapon can be acquired post-game through a Hargonaut monster drop, but its a 1 in 128 chance so it takes some time.
The Seed of Life and three Yggdrasil Leaves are the only real missable items on that level. The weapons and armor are all available as monster drops.
It is a temporary member. It is not available post-game (except maybe by save state hacks.)
Thanks bro.
Feel relief after half a year knowing that i actually didn't miss a member.
Got the sword but never knew it's also a monster drop. Talking about sword, some swords have special moves by holding the attack key and release. The fire sword shooting fire ball is quite fun to play.
How many of the seed of life and Yggdrasil leaves are there total actually in the whole game? Thinking I must have missed some.
You mentioned about Yggdrasil leaves remind me of the Yggdrasil dew given by the King during scenario, that should be able to keep obtaining it as long as you don't have that in items. It can be bought with gratitude after though (or not?)but still it would be nice if i knew that ahead.
Yggdrasil Leaves are effectively infinite because the Orc King at Furrowfield will drop them. As far as chests, there's one on each of the first three main story islands, and three spread across the final island. Unlike the Seed of Life, the Yggdrasil Leaves in the final area are well hidden and often missed.
Nice. I heard about the orc king will drop them too but for me it only dropped once at the first time and was dropping tomato seeds since then. Now I would want to go back and fight some more.
You still have to wait several game days at Furrowfield for it to respawn between kills. Wasting time on another island (like IOA) doesn't count - time only turns on an island while builder is on it.
Wow this clarified all my doubt bro. Thank you so much :D
