However, if DQB3 were to follow the model of Dragon Quest 3 (as DBQ1 did to DQ1 and DQB2 to DQ2) then multiplayer may well be available from the start. DQ3 lets you pick your other three party members from randomly generated examples and a lot of people think that a remote human player could drop in to replace an AI-controlled character during the campaign. Doesn't mean it happens, but it seems obvious enough that if it doesn't have such a feature it will disappoint people.

you can invite people to your island and check other islands... I haven't tryed it myself but it tell you in the story line at some point-- witch is co-op to a point...
