Furrowfield Bug?

Anyone else encountered a bug after 3 tasks are done the first ones, The Harvest Cabbage, Wheat and make a bigger field. Because i got no quests whatsover after those 3. Not from villiagers or Priest all.

No Dog spawn or anything. Totally Stuck

I killed the strong mob for Poison Needle, and the Orc that can spawn sugar seedlings and used the generic water source to submerge part of my scarecrow area to grow em (second playthrough) I didnt encounter this bug first time i did it, i wonder if by using knowledge i gained from the first playthrough compleatly bugged the game. I was just trying to be efficent as hell. Since poison needle is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brokenly powerful with its instant death chance, so i did the larva at what lv 5 i think, leveled up on those chimera fly to farm medicine leaves and made a ♥♥♥♥ ton of healing items before attempting this. But since the farming is done at a abyssmal rate in the start with the farm having only a few slots to use, i kinda well... went hunting. Anyhow. Anyone else encountered the bug that stuff dont spawn or did it get broken by me getting sugar seedlings way before i got wheat from the soldier?

I'm sure collecting sugarcanes seedling and acquirign the Poison Needle don't break it. I've planted (and harvested) all five crops before rescuing Rosie from the Badboons as part o f my testing to see how early certain things can be done or obtained ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zzjd_2JM624glPlkSyFfmH4A3Bdkb60f/view ) and you can kill the superstrong monsters at any time, also including before rescuing Rosie (though Orc King is quite the challenge at a low level)

Have you done these steps? These are the actions to take after Planting Wheat seeds and tilling more of the field(s):
- Repaired the fence at the Old Farm (and recruited Clayton in the process)
- Put 30 cabbages in a chest for Perry
- Built a Dining Table set
- Talked to Wrigley for Worm Food recipe
- Raised base to level 2 (or higher, available at any time but must be done before next event starts)
- Destroyed the five spoilspores around the farm

After the spoilspores, Pastor Al will officially join the farm instead of just monitoring activities and the dog will arrive with the new villagers. Talk to Pastor Al to start Sowing the Seeds for Success part 2 upon which you'll follow the dog south to the bog.

Just restarted and didnt do anything ahead of time and it worked fine.
I think the issue when thinking back in retro spec was planting wheat when i got the soldier as after planting it she came up with a quest, which leads to the wiggly.

In the bugged playthrough or whatever i should call it, i purified with the grass seeds gained from muddy hands.

But regardless, thanks for answering.

It has been known that doing things ahead of time can sometimes bug out the game. I think it is mostly a PC issue, though.

I have done this my second time thru. If you missed a task, any task and it doesn't have to be in the village, your progress will stop and you have to figure out what went wrong. It is a lot harder to figure it out if it is in lets say the bog. You don't expect or look outside of the village. I have done this and it looks like it is broken but it's not. Just wait for a missed task to be done.

Right…sorry if I’m a bit late, but I have done so much experimenting with this game I now want to use my knowledge to help. The main issue is that there’s something you need to do. The fast and easy thing is to look at your map (the mini map) are there any dots? If so, that’s what you’re missing. If not, check everything you can craft. If there’s exclamation points (!) that’s what you’re missing. One hidden detail is that you need Wiggly to change some spoiled soil to earth. If that’s the case, just take some from your inventory and plop it down anywhere. After that, just put a scarecrow on top.

Also, you can do quite a lot earlier than needed on Furrowfield. Killing all the super strong monsters, getting to the island with the old Deitree, grabbing the fertilizer from the offshore island with the cave and waterfall, getting the pumpkin seeds, I’ve done it all.

Yeah, i figured it out after restarting it was the need to Plant wheat, with no indicator of it needing to be done. Since i pretty much had everything in the farm area purified with the grass use item from those hands or whatever i did stuff that seemingly broke the game. Since i had a large stock of wheat i never harvested and replanted them, i was more into building and so on.
