Having a room look like a room but not count against your 100 "Room" allotment is already easy enough. Just use a Magnetic block on one of the wall blocks and camouflage it, or leave a corner open such that the room spills out into the surrounding space and exceeds the 143 block limit. Though these are not always possible (particularly building underground) and being able to force a room to not count would be useful in those situations.
The rest are all fine ideas though. (I personally would wish for a 3x3 Transform-O-Trowel swap area option the most.)
