I have a golem now and I'm seriously considering leveling it. It sure is big, but other than that it really just doesn't look all that good. Especially the topper, the silver and copper just looks really just doesn't fit the rest of it!

It's also so big that NPCs seems to have trouble pathing around it and get stuck of the sides sometimes...

I bulldozed on one save to use the space for experiments/blueprint creation & the other I left it & filled it with shops and other things that generate gratitude.

If you need inspiration though do what I do & build a noticeboard & cruise around everyone's uploaded islands for ideas. Some folk doze & build very groovy stuff, others do interesting things with it. Not sure what I'll do with save #3. Tempted to bulldoze the top part & do something fun since the 2nd storey is kind of hard to use. Kind of want to attempt a themepark up there. Rollercoaster maybe.

Make a copy of your save game before doing it, in case you'd rather revert. The save isn't big.

The save folder is:

%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS II\Steam\

Under that, there's a random number folder (user id), and then the SD folder is the one you want to copy and rename to back up your save. Just rename it back to SD to restore.

i actualy like it but the top that will get replacet whit something i am not done whit it jet but i have some buildings in the inner part and on the second floor and in the near of it is a small farm/village im workin on whit railtrack all conect on the island

I plan to just build homes/shops inside of it honestly and then if I don't like it maybe I'll take it down we'll see... it's not finished yet so I don't know what the top level that some people dislike even looks like yet.

Bulldozed it and built a floating island instead. Definitely looks way better that way.

Yeah I'm still debating. Will probably see if I can fit all I want to have inside of it and if not, then bulldoze time!

Honestly I just wish they had given us a third option of "just the pointy bit" for the topper. I went with the Goldirox one because I just had no idea what the other one was even supposed to be and I mean, Goldirox Rocks! (Sorry, had to :P) Mainly just cba demoing it.

I took down the bottom part to lay down a blueprint for 100 rooms for one of the tablet targets and kept the top part afloat. I don't care much about how it looks because I'm investing into Buildertopia.

Maybe add to the dystopian feel by using swampland to replace all the sand up top, which’ll make tons of zombies spawn.

I wouldnt be too hasty because as I recall there are a couple of resident requests which require you to build inside the pyramid.

Nope. They say they want you to build inside the pyramid, but you could build it inside a lake of lava and they’ll still jump inside and praise you as they burn to death.

Well, finally got up the gumption to do some demo work! I didn't actually bulldoze the entire thing as I decided I was gonna go with a "town nestled in the ruins" type of vibe. Really glad I finally went through with it!
