How do you access your holding bag?
At the first farm island and I got some things placed in my holding bag I just aquired but I have one problem. I can put things in it with the H key but I don't know how to open it to get things out. I tried every key on the keyboard but I got nothing.

Yup it's the tab key, check the keybinds in the settings menu, all the commands are listed there.

Let me append my previous comment, I hit every key EXCEPT the Tab key. Seriously though, thanks bunches.
