If you can't assign Bab's name then it means the room doesn't entirely fit within the base boundaries. Even if the floor space does, the wall might not - whole thing has to fit. The room must be assigned to Babs to clear the quest, meaning it must be entirely inside the base. Can't assign rooms outside or hanging over the border.
Also, those three buildings are in the worst location possible - monsters mobs attack from that side, and they're going to spawn right about where you've put Bab's room, meaning they'll demolish it almost immediately (and they'll wipe out that Gladiolus forcing you to fetch another.) Really shouldn't build any further east than the rock you're standing on in the photo. (And with the hammer upgrade, consider adding more Umber Blocks to thicken the wall and provide even better defense.)
If I were you, I'd move all three rooms west, to the other side of that rock, just south of the Copper Bar. Khrumbul-dun is a very tight fit: you're asked to make a lot of rooms in a very small space; go to second story for the Forge, Pumping Station, etc if needed. You should make Bab's room first to be sure you clear the quest.
After making the Pumping Station, Serge gives you the request for a dressing room for Babs, builder dreams up the "Bab's Bedroom" blueprint to follow, and you're granted the Dressing Table recipe to finish it off. And he tells you you need to go fetch a Gladiolus but use your Gloves instead of Hammer - because the Gladiolus is part of the blueprint. (People probably wouldn't include one if they didn't have to follow a blueprint.)
Not my video, but demonstrates what I just said:

Where is the proof that its NOT a blueprint? Are you using a hacked/pirated game or something? If you're misremembering, the Builderpedia's Blueprints section should have it listed if you've reached this point in the game.
But thanks SapphireStallion - a PC version screenshot is more definitive here than a PS4 screenshot. Game content is nearly identical between versions, so I'd have been shocked if PC didn't give you a blueprint here (especially with moon haunter's image exactly following the layout)
