Please someone tell me how to make the mouse cursor disappear
Simply put, I'm playing it with a PC controller(xbax style), and every time i enter dialogue, a cutscene, or crafting, or menus, the moise is stuck in the middle of the screen, obstructive as hell, bugging the hell out of me, please help me.

Full screen or windowed? If windowed, try moving mouse to edge of screen - when it moves beyond borders of the window it disappears. I've been playing demo in windowed mode with Xbox 360 wired controller and don't ever see the mouse until I move it. I don't know if it will stay away full screen though.

I have tried it now in windowed mode and it did nothing to solve the problem unfortunately, even draggin the mouse out of the window. I've also tried autohide cursor and other hiding methods, it seems like in the full game the cursor is not properly related to the actual mouse or cursor, snd when no input is detected, it snaps back to the center of the screen and shows up in menus and dialogue and such. Im not sure what to do about it at this point, it drive me kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but I guess I gitta put up with it.

If you go to Settings, Devices, Mouse, Additional Mouse Options, Pointer Options tab, is the "Snap To" checkbox checked? I'd imagine not or you'd see this behavior in every app, but what you describe is this exact functionality.

You may have the bottom checkbox on that tab, "Show location of pointer when I press CTRL key" checked and have one of your game commands mapped to CTRL button. This could have same effect.

Could be some third party apps that let you turn on or off the mouse cursor with certain key combinations which may solve the problem, too. Not familiar with any to recommend though. And given the game has its own cursor these may not work.

I've actually changed my settings in-game in an attempt to fix this problem, disabling any and all keyboard or mouse input by setting all those input options to 'nothing'. So it's not any keybboard commands. Both of the settings you referred to are also turned off. This seems to be an issue specific to this game and whether I have my mouse turned on or off, whether I've moved it out of the way, or turned off other apps, it always snaps back and is always present in all menus. autohidecursor is a solution I tried, a program that hides the mouse cursor after five seconds, and that also doesn't work. It's probably the most irritating thing I've experienced in a game for a long time. It's not unplayable as a result but I'm getting increasingly frustrated. I'm just shocked no-one else is talking about ti
