Maybe a specific trash item where to delete stuff could have been of some use ? Idk. Also a streamer said like just in case somebody would delete all the crafting table by mistake to have one location of a locked building table. After all there are already the tablets that can't be moved but I see why it could be annoying to have one table somewhere you can't delete at all even thought player still has to deal with incorporating the tablets to whatever is built, considering the way it is with those. Hum.... I don't know but there could have been a small location similar to fishing island where you'd be sure to have one way to recover a builder's table no matter the mistakes done...
If I was to talk to devs I would have suggested an ultimate delete/trash item that would have practical functions and a safety small location preventing unfixable mistakes. It could even be a special desitiation available by portal ? Idk, that might allow to blend it in the lore in some ways like you meet a guardian angel who'd tell you "oooh poor builder, you lost your way ? You cannot build anymore without the holy table whatever, here my dear little fellow, continue your job of creativity" and then, gives back a builder table lol.
Could even have been the hermit that would give back a table in case of emergency problem.
And why (small/regular) enemies seem not bothered by Buggy Buggy weapon shots ? Not even the mermen ? I guess that's stupid to ask lol. Another esthetic design that would have been funny would be that entering in water with the buggy would trigger an underwater headmask to appear or something, like the buggy change to aquatic mode.
I think placing a Builder's Workbench automatically upgrades it to the latest version you've got. Or maybe its hammering it. I can't recall but I've seen the behavior you describe. Except it doesn't work for the Level 0 Builder's Workbenches - the ones with none of the sections colored.
They never upgrade. But you have to make these before activating the Green Tablet (and most people don't do this.) They can only build a few items though so aren't much use.
Water in DQB2 is weird. And not just doing things like driving under it, or the physically impossible behavior of waterfalls, but you can talk and eat underwater, too. And try cooking underwater - flames are rightly put out on Bonfires underwater, until you start cooking then they magically light up. Development team really didn't do a very good job testing how fire should act underwater.
Ok so, here are corrections to my first messages. I earned a certain amount of medals but had my bag full and got 3 more music sheets at 88 medals or something. I thought because of my full bag the hermit didn't give me all of them because I miss one last. I finally earned all the mini medals but I don't know about the last music sheet if it was a bug or something when I spoke to hermit or if am missing something to obtain it (the last music sheet).
Magnetic Blocks, as well as almost all other limits, are island-specific. Its 255 or 256 for these I think. It doesn't matter if you farm the existing ones at Khrumbul-dun or make your own out of Iron. Once you place the last one at the limit it gives you a message about being unusual or something.
I suspect that you you traded for rewards with Hairy Hermit with a full bag the music sheet gifts would just drop to your feet. This is the behavior that happens if you bust a chest can can't hold all the items. I haven't really thought to try it with Hairy Hermit though.
Is there a list of the absolute total of items in the game with all DLC included ?
Like, how many items (and I really mean the absolute total of them) should appear in the builderpedia but not only there. I want to know also each specific item that would be in builder's table.
I noticed I cannot craft a Chaos/Hargon banner. I guess I have to farm those on one of the last explorer shores ? You see, I wonder if every craftable or farmable items are in the builderpedia. I guess they are ? But am not sure yet so I'd like a confirmation.
Also I want to be sure I built every dlc rooms and cooking recipies beyond the 100% of the game.
Are there other craftable items that only appear beyond the 100% and don't have a question mark slot in the builder's tables or in the builderpedia ? And if so how many of them ? What are they ?
Oh my bad I forgot also, can I craft a room that requires dragon quest builders 1 item ? I heard of it but forgot what it is.
Item-pedia has the full list of items found in the Builerpedia but this is not full list of items in game, as there's dozens more that aren't listed (like the Brainy Badboon's Banana Peel and all the corrupted plants)
May need to copy and paste to spreadsheet software, remove the DLC you don't have, and reorder into 6 columns to better identify gaps in your Builderpedia vs full list.
Banner of Hargon (the 2x1 standing pole with hanging banner) can be made at Builder's Workbench post-game - I don't think one must be collected earlier. Hargon's Standard (the 3x2 wall mountable curtain) is made at Tree Stump. If its like most other Tree Stump items, you'd have needed to hammer one first, but you come across these often enough in the game (Lillian & Saffrons Cave, wrecked Slave Ship, the Ark) that you probably should have already.
Not sure which one you meant.
Dragonlord's Throne room requires the Dragonlord's Throne, which is only available on Switch and PS4 if a DQB1 save file advanced to the Tantegel chapter exists. PC version always gets it. It requires a couple of other things too: Draconic Columns that you can build yourself at Builder's Workbench, but also a pair of Dragonlord's Standards that are dropped by the Silvapithecus superstrong at Laguna Perfuma (need two, but can buy second with gratitude if you've got one)
What kind of housing metal slimes enjoy and can they be satisfied like residents with the three conditions ? (Can other pets be satisfied this way too ?)
Initial position may be randomized a bit on load. They will teleport/unlock if you do things like ring a bell, clear certain tablet targets (though you've past all of those already), assign them to your team at Resident's Register, or relocate them between areas. You can certainly dig a hole and get them trapped during a single game session though - I've done it myself by accident. LMS can't climb ladders so its easy to provide yourself a way out but them only a way in. I'm not sure if placing a room at the bottom with Nameplate would help trap them or not. But a 2 block high wall is all you need for these guys (they can only jump 1 block) Note that other monsters could get stuck in the same pit - humans could climb out the ladder but some monsters might not be able to do so.
