hows your guys playtime on this game?
Wondering how well the replay value is on this game vs others like minecraft. I still playDQB 1 on my vita now and then but eh doesnt hold up as much as I thought it would. Feels like it was missing content or something.

Playtime seems rather low or normal for this game in what I expect it to be..

Tempting to buy at 20% off, not sure if i'll play now or just wait til later to buy cheaper.

I'm @ 172 hours, well worth the money spent of you consider the $1 per hour of playtime ratio.

I'm sure I could easily sink another 30 hours if I would just sit down and start building on some of my projects that I've been wanting to do.

I have just under 150 hours, or a little more if you count the 10+ hours I put into the demo (but didn't carry my save over from).

I finished the story around 100 hours, although I played the first few chapters pretty slowly since I was enjoying building them up. The rest was finishing up the explorer's islands and setting up basic needs on my Isle of Awakening. There's still a ton more I want to do on my save file but once I got the last achievement I figured I'd take a break since I have other games on my list to play.

I expect I'll easily put another 30-40 hours in to finish off all the recipes and build up my island a bit more at some point. And probably another 60 or so to replay the story eventually. Beyond that I'm not sure, although it would probably take me hundreds of hours to actually build all the ideas that I'd like to do if I had the time.

I've been playing for 500 hours. It's very good. My house construction is very few. Room design and room production are very time consuming. It's very interesting. Playing with friends is a great choice. I spend most of my time helping friends build houses. My construction time is about 400 hours. The plot of the play is about 100 hours The plot is great and the price includes all DLC. Why don't you have it right away:lunar2019piginablanket:

I'm on PS4 but over the 500 hour mark. I think it replays better than DQB1. DQB1 didn't really allow you to take your time, certainly not on PS4 with its timed challenges, but also for more limited white petals needed for healing items and much more difficult monsters. I felt constrained to do what was needed during the story chapters of DQB1, only being freed on Terra Incognita. DQB2 doesn't have alot of variance in how you accomplish quests, but some can be done in different orders to mix things up and does a much better job intermixing the free build and exploration parts, and gives you all the time you could want. DQB1s post game is entirely unrelated to the four chapters, while DQB2s is integrated, so you don't start over again from scratch and maintain relationships you've grown used to as the story developed. Main story playtime is similar enough between the two games (60-80 hours) to not be a big difference, but DQB2 is the clear winner in post-game value.

I've put in 224 hours so far. Still have many objectives to complete on the Tablets. I'm really enjoying the building aspect, and try to make each a bit different from the previous.
