3 star dormitory help

Trying to make a 3 star dormitory for quest but dont have a recipe for chest of draws anyone have a suggestion? I have the basic stuff plus 2 chairs and 2 golden brasiers.

The stars don't have anything to do with recipes, it's how luxurious the room is. Make a room with golden walls and floor, put some more golden braziers in it, etc.

Nyaru is right. Digby is asking for a 3-star fanciness Dormitory (or Done-up Dormitory). You can't make a Drop-Dead Dormitory at that point in the game. There's an exploit to get Chest of Drawers very early in the game on IOA, but for normal play you won't get them until after the third major story island and only then would you be able to build a Drop-Dead Dormitory.

Silver walls and floors should work, too, if you use other fancy things like the Simple Beds instead of Straw Mattresses, more than 2 Golden Braziers, etc. Its easier to meet fanciness requirements the larger the room is too. Make it Enormous sized if you have to (but stay at under the 143 block limit of course)

Later in the game, an optional quest will involve making a 4-star (max) fanciness room. But that one is pretty hard to do without golden brick and tile.

I pulled mine off by adding tables, the condiment mix, flower/vase combo, golden brazers, and like 2 or 3 other things I can't remember. I basically just kept moving stuff from the bar into the inn until it was fancy enough, lol.

Thanks, I ended up doing carpet with gold and silver walls, simple bed, and kept adding things till it became 3 stars.
