Is there any chance that the PC version will support crossplay?
Hi, I've been enjoying Dragon Quest Builders 2 demo. I may buy the full version in the future.
I'm also ready to recommend this to my little cousin who plays on PS4.
But I've heard that crossplay is being supported on for PS4 and Switch.
Will PC be added in the future?

Switch and PS4 can not crossplay with each other in cooperative multibuilder mode. I do not expect PC will ever crossplay with them either. They are each operating on their own network - be it basic internet for PC, or Nintendo Switch Online and PS Plus for the consoles.

The three platforms can however exchange islands and photos through the Noticeboard. That is a download-only interaction and not a simultaneous exchange of data like the coop mode.

To summarize, if your little cousin had the game on PS4 and you had it on PC, you could see each other's photos and visit each other's islands by downloading them through the Noticeboard, but could not play together at the same time on either of your islands. You'd both need the same hardware, and for consoles both need the online subscription service as well, to play together.

"sigh" Co-op crossplay could be such a great feature for this game. How unfortunate.
