skirmish doesn't work

Yep, it's broken for a lot of people- myself included- and I even reported it but they haven't rolled out a fix for it yet. It's been 6+ months at this point.

If not even runs i dont think we can do much. But some players like me, the game just runs at insane / unplayable speed on skirmish.

I do not usually suggest things like this but... I paid money to play a game. So...

i was wondering if we could make a workaround using a hacking engine to reduce the game speed. Some kind of Slow-motion effect. Cheat-Engine is able to do that i think. The game not seems to have any kind of anti-cheat system, so i think it could work.

i thought about trying the map maker tool since you might edit gamespeed there i suppose, but i will be honest: i dont think it will work, i already uninstalled the game and i lost hope for a fix. :X
if anyone wants to try, i would be happy to hear about it.

I'm playing against the AI, works great, no issues, never had a problem still can even earn the upgrade points and such.

I just tried Skirmish again, it was fine. Maybe try turning on VSync if it's running too fast. But I know stuff like driver versions and Windows update versions and so on can be finicky.

I re-installed it after your post, but sadly skirmish vs ai is still too fast. i tried the campaign and this was fine however...

That's so weird, the only other thing I can think of is maybe the framerate, I capped mine at 90. But I have a feeling it's a bug with some hardware-specific stuff.

yea, i activated vsync and capped it down to 60 but still no change :/
on which system do you run the game?
I'm runnig it on Win 11 Home 23H2

I'm on Win11 Pro 24H2, Ryzen 5800X, Radeon 6750XT, driver version 24.12.1

thank you, I upgraded to 24H2, otherwise I'm running AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D & GTX 4070TiS with newest drivers (also on older systems)... still doesnt work :'(

guess I'll wait for another promising RTS game :S
