salt and blood blood axe key

curious how do it find this key?
i've tried google and youtube searching and is it true it's only obtainable via not sleeping with the demon girl?

if so is there another way to get into that room since i was going for the kill/items/secrets 100%

Edit: also wondered can the poison tank be filled after it runs out in the same level? and in paradise lost can the red portal next to the blue and yellow ones ever be repaired?

Yeah, the key is given by Eraanthe if you go to her after pissing Yzbeth off (attacking her while she's explaining important stuff). There is no other way to get into that room, but it doesn't count as a secret.

Poison tank can only be filled a little with the bottle given by the Shady Fixer, but you have enough in the tank to brew all the possible stuff.

The red portal can't be repaired, nor would it even matter since the other end is basically at the bottom of a lava pool.

ah righty yeah i might try that "annoy yzbeth" method on another playthrough, i clipped through the wall to see what was in there lol and give myself the key via cheats. i ended up with only 2 enemies missed which i have no idea where they were unless those 2 gargoyles at that blood axe key entrance didn't trigger. i'll admit i ended up with 1 ammo i couldn't brew but maybe i did something weird.

thanks for confirming all that, i tend to enjoy experiencing all i can in this game. amazed how long the 2nd episode is when i do that.
